Pudsey Bear from BBC Children In Need designs his own feather dedicated to a loved one & places it on the wall at intu, Uxbridge & becomes an angel amongst other feathers dedicated by local children & families as he visits us at HALO supporting children with bereavement. We had a great day with you Pudsey!

Wow what an amazing opportunity it has been to share Halo Children’s Foundation in the shopping mall at intu, Uxbridge for 5 weeks. Pudsey bear from BBC CIN visits us in store on our last day as BBC Children In Need fund a Project Coordinator at HALO to work with our children.

How many times have you wished you could call your loved one to share with them important news or just to say ‘I love you’? At HALO we offer peer support and a listening ear. Pop along to one of our sessions & we can share more with you on what we do at HALO.

We at HALO aim to provide advice, information and hope to those dealing with the loss of a loved one.

We hold a monthly group of expressive arts and play on a Saturday, where children can mix, play and develop in a safe and stimulating environment amoungst others going through similar loss and grief.

HALO aims to provide relief from the effects of bereavement to children up to 18 years old who have suffered the loss of someone close to them, this could include, a parent, grandparent, sibling or even a close friend who is now missing from their life.

The charity knows that it can never make up for the loss of a love one but it hopes to be able to help children smile again and hold on to memories they have.
